Strähler Gina

After completing my bachelor’s degree in Biomedicine at the University of Zurich, I continued my studies in the Department of Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zurich, focusing on neuroscience. During an internship in sleep research at the Children’s Hospital Zurich, I had the chance to gain valuable insights into different projects involving the effect of down phase-targeted auditory stimulation on slow wave activity during sleep as well as biomarkers in sleep architecture for early diagnosis of schizophrenia. For my master’s thesis, I joined the Neuro-Urology research group at Balgrist University Hospital and investigated different setups of tibial nerve stimulation and their effects on somatosensory evoked potentials. Upon completing my thesis, I was offered the opportunity to continue contributing to the team as a Research Assistant.
