Scheidegger, Jens

Jens Scheidegger obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees in microbiology and immunology from ETH Zürich and joined the phage group the same year after finishing as a research assistant. In his master's thesis, he investigated the role of the microbiota in urea cycle disorders and the nitrogen metabolism of the gut. At Balgrist University Hospital he is responsible for processing and analysing samples from patients receiving phage therapy.
