Mellor, Stephanie Dr.

Stephanie obtained her PhD from UCL in 2023, working on the development of wearable neuromagnetic brain imaging (MEG) using Optically Pumped Magnetometers (OPMs). Her work focussed on the suppression of movement noise through analysis methods and real-time interference correction, as well as the application of OPM-MEG in epilepsy.

Her current work focusses on the application of OPM neuromagnetic imaging to the spinal cord. She is working to establish an OPM based simultaneous brain and spinal cord imaging system, in order to facilitate further research into connectivity throughout the central nervous system.
