Lovera, Maria Margherita

Maria Margherita obtained her Master’s degree in Mathematical Engineering in 2022 from Polytechnic of Torino, specializing in statistical modelling and computational methods. After completing her master’s, she gained industry experience in various sectors, where she applied data-driven approaches to diverse problem settings.

 

In October 2025, she joined Dr. Carl Moritz Zipser’s group as a PhD student at the Spinal Cord Injury Center of Balgrist University Hospital. Her research will focus on the creation of a computational model to support outcome prediction in patients with spinal cord compression, integrating clinical data, imaging features, and CSFP metrics.
