Lerch, Irina

Irina received a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in 2016. She then started working as a physiotherapist in the Centre of Paraplegia at Balgrist University Hospital.

Since 2020 she also works as a research assistant for the lab. In 2021 she completed the Certificate of advanced Studies (CAS) in Physiotherapy Rehabilitation at the Bern University of Applied Science and in 2022 the CAS in lymphatic Physiotherapy at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

As a research assistant she is responsible for recruiting patients and collecting sensor data, as well as the contribution of physio therapy knowledge and clinical expertise to various projects. Furthermore she maintains the EMSCI database.
