From 2014 – 2017 I studied molecular biology at the Paris Lodron University in Salzburg and the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. I continued my masters at the University of Vienna in molecular biology with a specification in neuroscience. I carried out my thesis at the Campus Biotech in Geneva, working in the group of Gregoire Courtine. My project was about lateral hypothalamic connectivity and its potential role in locomotion after spinal cord injury. I graduated in 2020 and decided to start working. For two years I worked at the Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen Klinikum Steyr in Upper Austria as a biomedical analyst. In 2023 I decided to go back into the research field and applied for PhD positions. In January 2024 I started working at the Spinal Cord Injury Center in the group of PD Dr. Michèle Hubli. My research interest will be focused on pain research in patients with spinal cord injury.
