Kheram, Najmeh Dr.

Najmeh did her Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at Shiraz University and switched to biomedical engineering for her Master’s degree doing her thesis on the analysis of the phonocardiogram signal. In 2019, she aimed for a second Master's at Grenoble-Alpes University, majoring in signal and image processing. Her thesis was on the analysis of EEG from genetically modified epileptic rats. She joined Dr. Zipser's team in December 2020 as a PhD student at the Spinal Cord Injury Center of Balgrist University Hospital, working on the analysis of CSF pressure data in patients with spinal cord compression and defended her thesis in August 2024. She’s currently continuing her work as a Post-doctoral researcher on more advanced signal analysis methods and machine learning.
