Bosi, Elena

Elena obtained her Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2024 from the University of Bologna, specializing in Innovative Technologies in Diagnostics and Therapy. Her master’s thesis focused on developing an algorithm for the automatic computation of renal volume in patients with Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease, using Diffusion-Weighted MRI images.

 

In April 2025, she joined Dr. Carl Moritz Zipser’s group as a PhD student at the Spinal Cord Injury Center of Balgrist University Hospital. Her research will involve the analysis of phase-contrast MRI data correlated with CSF pressure metrics in the context of spinal cord compression.
