Curriculum vitae

Markus Wirz completed his training as a physiotherapist at the University Hospital of Zurich in 1990. He received a doctoral degree in the area of health, medicine and life sciences at the University of Maastricht/NL. Markus Wirz is the head of the physiotherapy department at the Spinal Cord Injury Center at the Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich. He is also involved in various research projects focusing on rehabilitative assessments and evaluating physiotherapeutic interventions e.g., the locomotor training after spinal cord injury. Furthermore, Markus Wirz is a lecturer at the University of Applied Science (zhaw) in Winterthur.
