Christine Ackermann studied at the Universities of Basel and Göttingen. She did her Magister Artium (Master) in Modern History (nation building in the 19th century) at the University of Göttingen and her PhD thesis in Modern History (invention of tradition) at the University of Zurich. She joined the lab in 2007 as a scientific coordinator and is especially responsible for the coordination of the CRPP Neuro-Rehab (Clinical Research Priority Program) of the University of Zurich.
