Dr. Stéphanie Van der Lely

Stéphanie van der Lely completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and her Master’s degree in Neurobiology at the University of Zurich (Switzerland) in 2010 and 2012, respectively. Her research interests during her Master thesis included the manipulation of emotional valence with non-invasive brain stimulation (e.g. transcranial direct current stimulation and caloric vestibular stimulation). Subsequently she worked for two years in Basel as a scientific assistant at the Centre for Chronobiology and at the Cardiovascular Research Institute (CRIB). In September 2014 she started her PhD at the Spinal Cord Injury Center at Balgrist University Hospital, Switzerland. Stéphanie’s research focuses on the evaluation of new approaches in the treatment and neurophysiological assessment of healthy and impaired human lower urinary tract function
